From Casual to Permanent in a Year!

With a desire to work part-time in Benalla, and with the help of Carol Pinney, our area Business Development Manager, Mary was encouraged to apply for a suitable casual position advertised on our website.

She was successful in the interview and on 21st February 2018, Mary started her new job as a casual on-hire employee with Hides Bakery, where she would up keep their finances, bookwork and would assist with general administration tasks.

Fast forward to June 2018, as a clear asset to the bakery team, Hides took an opportunity to transfer Mary into their direct employment in a casual capacity. Both Mary and Carol were delighted with the news and Mary quickly snapped up this offer.

“It was great to work with Mary and a real shame to lose her as a valued Recruitment Select casual employee, but it’s so great to see her succeed and in a position so suited to her and her life. I could not be happier with the outcome for Mary!” Carol exclaimed.

Just a short year after Mary made the move to Hides Bakery she was offered a permanent, ongoing position with them.

Mary said “It’s all worked out so well for me and if I didn’t meet Carol and the team at Recruitment Select, I wouldn’t be in the position I am in now. Everyone at the Bakery is so nice and I am delighted to be part of the team”.
